Tried calling home and kept getting busy signal. Finally, MY phone rang as I was closing down the office - hubby says he's been on the phone with his Mom. It seems that she's had a "stroke" in her eye (blood vessel burst). She thought her car was full of flies but really, her eye was full of blood.
The doctor thinks that her high blood pressure had something to do with it. They are working on getting it down and will operate on her eye on March 30th. She is very nervous about it, but will pull through beautifully, I'm sure. My husband's ex will be staying there (previously planned visit) and she is a nurse, so that should work out well.
Yup... interesting times.
