Sam Elliott?
Jessica over at "Oh, the Joys" had a blog entry that confessed to her "lame-o" crushes. Well, except for the Boy Wonder, I don't think they were so bad. In my numerous responses, I confessed to David Cassidy, Bobby Sherman, Sam Elliott, Steve Martin and Sean Connery (as an old guy - I didn't find him appealing when he was young!). Later I posted that I felt lucky that my husband resembled one of my long-time crushes, Sam Elliott. Of course, Jessica said that I was now REQUIRED to post a "Sam Elliott" picture of my husband. Well, Jess - I'm still looking. This is the closest I can come in my digital library, but I do have some pictures on paper that actually look like they could be brothers. Once I dig it out of a box I'll see what I can do with it....

hubba hubba husband!!!
Nice catch!
by the way I can see Z boy's dad in him big time.
He'll have to beat off the (nice cute intelligent) girls with a stick in high school. You can tell him I said so!
Thanks! I like him very much. And I love the beard. He shaves it off from time to time and looks like a completely different person. The last time he took it off, he left the mustache with a little droop at the ends - which is what spurred the Sam Elliott comparison. I do have a picture somewhere, but having most of my stuff in boxes? Who knows where it is!
He is, indeed, looking good!
See I never, ever got the Connery thing. Young or old, it doesn't matter.
Sam Elliott has made a zillion movies but I still think of Mask when I see him.
The real Sam that is.:)
Oh and I'm seeing someone, don't know if Elliott is it but now it's definitely going to bother me.
This is a fun game to play though!:)
It would probably help me to make a comparison if I knew what Sam Elliot looked like, lol.
When he has the full beard like that, I think he looks like Obi Wan Kenobi in the third (read last) Star Wars movie. And that's perfectly lovely too!
Sam Elliott... biker dude in the movie MASK with Cher; the kick-ass buddy in ROADHOUSE with Patrick Swayze; he's done a bunch of westerns, and something with Farrah Fawcett (but he was clean-shaven for that). And I LOVE his voice! If you're into craggy guys, he's the mountain top!
