Sunday

I spent the ENTIRE day outside. I went out after talking to my grandmother in Wales for about an hour and drinking coffee to plant my newly weeded and emptied front flower bed. I bought all kinds of flowers at Lowes and am hoping they will survive. The bed looks pretty. When I finished that, I started on the border bed that runs along the sidewalk. My in-laws showed up, giving me a much needed break. It actually pretty much stopped me for the day, but since it was already late afternoon anyway that was probably good. Shower, dinner, dear man crashed out on the bed and little man watching "Mulan" in the living room. I've folded laundry and am ready to crash myself. Pleasantly exhausted and every one of my muscles aches. I could use a massage!

Nothing like fresh air and sunshine to wear you out!

Oh yeah! Nothing better.

I always admire how some people have the talent to really care for plants. The rest of us, however...:)

Well - we'll see if I have that talent. I failed miserably at my old house despite my best efforts. Basically, nothing likes to grow in sand - which is mostly what I had there. I'm hoping better dirt will yield better results!

I suspect your garden will grow.

Janet I hear you on plant growing woes. I've got a black thumb (which is why I love going out for walks and jogs and admiring people's gardens/landscaping).
