OLTA Update

Man - you other participants must be dancing a jig(gle) today - I'm up a pound.

Actually, that's kind of a miracle considering what all went on this weekend.

1) Wedding: appetizers, salad, dinner, punch, cake... no exercise unless you consider relearning how to walk on high-heels exercise.

2) Dinner at Uncle's: pesteles, white rice, corn on the cob, mudslides. This not too long after lunch at Wendy's.

3) Dad gets BBQ right: BBQ ribs, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, salad, ice cream. I was so full, I was actually afraid I wouldn't make it home with dinner intact. I did, but that means I also kept all those wonderfully delicious but fat-making calories.

And no exercise. I am such a bad, bad girl. Must do better. Actually - it was only those three days of naughtiness, so maybe that's why I got away with only gaining one pound.

Don't worry. I bet you lose that pound as fast as you gained it.

I actually got around to having my daughter take a picture of my butt, but I haven't had time to get it uploaded to the computer and post it.

By the time I get around to it, the competition will be over, lol.

Garsh, I sure do feel bad for you.
(snicker snicker)

Seriously, stay with it. ((cheer cheer)) it will be slow, but the results will be worth it.

Hey, only a pound after a weekend of indulgence is great! I have no clue where I stand--maybe it's time to buy my own scale...hmm...

Don't give up!

Sayre, don't feel bad. I gained 4. See my blog for why. I will say that the party was almost worth it.

I WILL lose the weight. I WILL earn bragging rights. Go back to your uncle's house and drown your sorrows.
