Not for the Faint of Heart

After getting my son up this morning and getting him started with breakfast, I headed downstairs to clean up a bit of the shop so that the plumbers could get back to the pipe that needed to be replaced. I was carefully picking up screws and nuts and bolts and putting them into the cardboard box I'd brought down with me. I realized that this would take forever (they were EVERYWHERE), so I got a squeegee that was sitting there and raked it all into the box. There was one particular bit of stuff that just wouldn't come. Looked like something wrapped in brown paper, or maybe the remains of a wasp next. Then I realized that there was a tail attached to it, which was pinned under a box of hardware-type stuff. I lifted the end of the box and slid it out. Ahhhh!

When I got it out and into the light, it turned out to be this:

I hope his livelier friends don't freak "Gary" and his buddy out too badly...

That is very ewww. And regarding the smell, we had a mouse die in our ceiling and it smelled for about 5 days.

Save it for Halloween...put in a pickle jar. That would be real gross.
