Death and Resurrection, sort of

Yes, you've been hearing crickets the last few days....

My computer died a slow and horrible death. My anti-virus protection kept telling me I wasn't protected, and since we had a new update for a program I use at work that wouldn't load, I thought maybe that was what was causing the no-load problem. So I bought new "protection" from McAfee, which protected me so well that I couldn't get in OR out of my computer. Many tears of frustration later, and I disconnected all and hauled it to work to see what kind of magic my IT guy Ron could work.

I love Ron...

I still have this protection thing to work out. He uninstalled the McAfee, managed to reload the OLD work program because my computer WOULD NOT accept the new one (the old still works). I need to call the McAfee folks because apparently I am over protective of my wireless network - which I don't have. If I disable it, my computer is not protected and it won't let me go anywhere. So for now, I'm off to spend hours on hold with the McAfee people to see how to make this stupid thing work.

But I wanted to let you know where I was and what was going on. I haven't abandonded you guys, or this blog, but am having "technical difficulties" at the moment.

Hi S--sorry to hear this misfortune. Computers can be so uncooperative, eh?

Well, we're looking forward to your full return (smile)!

awwwwwww was wondering ..glad to know everyone is safe and sound it's just a darn computer problem again. I hate those.
Hope all is up and running again soon. It is amazing though how much we rely on being able to just sit down in front of this thing and click to so many parts of the world and visit with so many fabulous people...which of course is why it is so devastating when its NOT WORKING For us!!!!!
take care
