Friday afternoons

In my Crazy Eights post, I listed my job as one of the eight things I am passionate about. This afternoon is one of those days when I am supremely happy to be where I am.

The reason?

People singing in the hallways.

Among the tunes floating around:
Philadelphia Freedom
To Be with You
Me-na-me-na (be-be- be-dee-bee)
Miss Me when I'm gone
Beautiful
Hold On
Rhinestone Cowboy
Greatest American Hero Theme Song
Karate Kid, Part 2 Theme Song
Love to Love You, Baby

It's a contest to see which one becomes the earworm most people take home with them. For me, it's gonna be "To Be with You", which was presented as a duet from two ends of the hallway.

Too funny!

Sounds alot funner than hearing my boss whistle and sing "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" or "Jimmy Crack Corn" (I kid you not!)

BTW, is "funner" a word???

Nice to hear somebody happy about their job!

LOL!!! That's hilarious!! Sounds like a fun place to be. And know I have "Love to Love You, Baby" stuck in my head.

Ahem! Yeah! I don't wait to hear other people singing. I just go ahead and sing whatever takes my mood! Life IS a song, is it not?

I want your workplace, Sayre!
I am terribly prone to earworms, and like to spread the love, let me tell ya!

My own personal favorite is the tune to the chicken dance...
