Perchance to Dream...

Sleep seems to be the dominant theme of this blog lately!

Yesterday I came home from picking the boy up from school (arriving about 4pm), laid down on the couch and fell asleep. About an hour later, Darling Man prodded me awake and suggested that I move my body up to the bedroom - where I laid down and promptly fell asleep again.

When I woke up, the house was quiet and dark. It was three am. I got up and checked around the house, finding Z asleep in the computer room and DM asleep in Z's room.

I crawled back into bed and slept until the dog woke me up at quarter to seven.

It was the best sleep I'd had in a long, long time.

Sounds like the recharge was needed.
You are a bit of a sleep nomad it seems.

Yes... I'm a sleep nomad. Because of my snoring, I'm apt to sleep wherever I can - computer room, my room, my son's room (rarely, he kicks) or the couch. And sleep is such a lovely, lovely thing to do - I like it very cool with moving air and sometimes my husband does not - so off I go in search of a place to sleep...

I have sleep envy. Since the birth of my daughters I feel like I've forgotten how to have a decent night's sleep. God forbid that I sleep later than 5 am.
