I've seen this meme all over the place and figured I'd go ahead and do it too... It's spreading all over the web by way of "Sunday Stealing". Each week they search the web for cool memes, and when they find one they like, they "steal" it.
This week's meme is called "The Aging Meme":
At a certain age women should: stop trying to look like 20-somethings.
Now that I am older I wish: I had more time for myself.
You know you are too old to party when: you can't stay awake past 9pm.
You know you are too young to retire when: you don't have enough money to live on without working.
When I was in high school I listened to the music of: John Denver; Jim Croce; Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young; Kansas
On my last birthday I: don't remember what I did.
On my next birthday I want to: remember what I did.
The best birthday present I ever got was: a guitar when I turned 16. 30 years later, it still gets played (by my husband) and sounds great!
The first time I felt grown up was: the first night I spent alone.
The last time I felt like a kid was: too long ago.
When I read: "Gone With the Wind", I was introduced to a whole new form of storytelling.
Last year was: exhausting. New house, fixing up stuff, illnesses, surgery...
Next year I hope: to have good health and boundless energy to do the things I want to do!
