Fun Monday - Christmas Carols and Things

MamaLang is getting into the holiday spirit with this Fun Monday Challenge!

It's the Christmas season, and I want you to tell us what are your three favorite Christmas Carols and a picture of your favorite Christmas "thing". It could be a Christmas tree, or your mantle, or a church, you in a Santa hat.

My absolute favorite is "Emmanuel" by Manheim Steamroller, but of course, there's no video of that. I did find a video of this one: Still, Still, Still. The Manheim Steamroller Chrismas albums are my favorites.

And then of course, there's this one. For some reason, when ZBoy was a baby, he absolutely adored Bing Crosby.

And my favorite "thing?"

These "soft" ornaments adorned our tree for the first couple of years of ZBoy's life - because he just couldn't keep his hands off the tree and we were afraid he would break stuff and hurt himself. These made up our kid-friendly tree.

But THIS is my favorite Christmas "thing" of all!

Great pics and stories! I love Mannheim Steamroller too. I liked their version of the "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" from the Christmas Extraordinaire album (known in our house as "the red one, not the blue one"). :-)

Loved the Still,Still,Still video..What would Christmas be without Bing, singing White Christmas! Your favorite Christmas thing is a cutie pie!

Ewww! Christmas music!

At first I wondered why you had put dog toys on your tree--could I be said to be a little dog-centric these days?

The soft ornaments were a smart idea.

Your son has beautiful eyes. And the rest of his face is cute, too.

I've actually seen Manheim in concert. Made me want to gouge my eyes out.

What a little munchkin face! I'll bet he gives you a run for your money, Sayre! good idea to not fight a toddler and decorate with "legal" things.

All the best to you and your family this holiday season.

Awesome! I loved Bing in White Christmas - which is a "must watch" all December (re: year) long.

That kid friendly tree is a great idea, maybe I should put all my kid's babies on the tree. I wish I lived near you, I would definately bring my kids to you for Santa pictures
