30% Goofy

The boy woke up this morning spouting percentages. I'd say that was a little unusual - especially for he-who-steers-clear-of-intentional-math. Maybe it's the looming FCAT next week. Perhaps he's dreaming of equations...

Anyway, for some reason, he decided to analyze personalities this morning.

According to him, Darling Man is 30% serious and 70% goofy.

He, himself, is 95% goofy and 5% serious.

And me? 30% goofy and 70% serious.

My face must have fallen a little (I have to be the responsible parent most of the time, making him clean his room, do homework, discipline - while daddy gets to be the fun parent), because he perked right up, put his hand on my knee and said, "Annnnddd... you're 100% SMART!"

At least he thinks "smart" is a good thing.

Love it. Both of my grandsons think I'm a math nerd, and they blame me because they are, too.

Yeah, I hear stuff like that all the time. My youngest told me I didn't have to worry that I'm not skinny 'cause I'm good at reading and math. Ouch.

Sayre, my darling sweetheart, lets swap hubbies, oh go on! haha! Mine is the serious one I am the goofy down here! Darling man, you keep being goofy! Someones gotta do it! Ahhh from the mouths of babes, but seriously I guess we even each other out don't you think? (The serious and the goofy totally complement each other, but hang on Zak just came along and started burping in my face the gross little bugger! You can totally have him as a bonus! He comes free with his dad!)

And just what is wrong with being serious? I'm more like 90/10. :)

Heehee! Great followup/save on that one! Hmm, I wonder what my goofy percentage is. I think it varies from day to day :-) TGIF to you!

PS I'd like to sign up for Fun Monday but I actually wrote a post on that very subject a couple of months ago. I could repost some of it, with updates, but I don't want it to be a cop-out either. I'm waiting to see how much time I'm going to have over the weekend :-)

lolol...I just cannot wait to meet this kid. He's phenomenal. I wish he was my age or vice versa! Neat neato little man.

I hope he still wears his 'Well yes it actually is rocket science' t shirt!
