Fun Monday - Sunday Clothes

Gattina who has Writer Cramps, is our hostess for this week's Fun Monday!

Her question is: What are you wearing when you get out of your bed on a Sunday morning. Of course I want to see a picture of what you wear, with you inside or not.

This is what I was wearing this morning. Very soft cotton. A bit loose. Cool. I love nightgowns. I have one that is so comfortable and incredibly ratty. I really do need to throw it away. Trying to urge myself in that direction, I bought this last week. They had some long-sleeved ones and some pajamas, though I'm not much of a PJ girl. What I really want is a flannel granny gown. Nothing like that to keep you warm on a cold winter's night!

Once I got up, I donned a pair of sweat pants and a pirate T-Shirt. That's what I wore to get breakfast with my boy...

By the time we got back home, it was warming up a bit. And I had some grunge work to do, so I changed into a tank top and shorts. These are my bumming around the house shorts, as I backed into a newly painted green wall while wearing these and the mark never quite came out...

Sunday's are lazy at-home days for me, so my wardrobe isn't exciting, but it IS comfortable!

Have to giggle at you wanting a granny gown, I have been tempted to get one myself. I get too hot though under the feather doona. I can't wear pants in bed and tend to sleep in very little. One of the reasons I won't be sharing this week! LOL! I have to admit the granny gowns look and feel so snuggly for winter.

Great job. I love the way cotton just gets softer and softer the longer you love it.

I'm with you on the tank tops and shorts, those are my house outfits as they are very comfy for me.

;)

Happy Monday!

I remember my little red flannel pjs -- when I was a kid. They were so warm and inviting...in our cold bedroom. My feet were cold, tho. I don't know why my mother never told me to wear socks.

Hi Sayre! I too LOVE nightgowns. That is what I typically wear to bed every night. Contrary to what my post says today, I usually throw on a sweat suit every morning until I have my first cup of jo, then I get dressed!

Tank tops and shorts is pretty much what my wardrobe consists of - I like to be comfortable and since I work out of the house I rarely put on anything dressy.
I have a flannel granny gown and it's my favorite winter outfit.
Of course the first time I wore it my husband took one look and said "Obviously the honeymoon is over" LOL

I think you hit the nail on the head there - Sunday's should be comfortable, nice comfy wear you've got there! I like your pirate t-shirt.

I had to laugh about your T-shirt with a skull, how romantic ! I don't like Pajamas either, I hate having something around my waist when I am in bed.
I am sure you find shops in Florida who sell those caftans, we have a big choice here in Brussels simply on the market !

I see you also have to change clothes several times a day, Sayre! Hate that so try to do everything possible in morning pants and then get dressed. I'm trying to remember the brand name of those cotton knit nighties that all my friends love so much--incredibly soft and comfortable. Begins with "C"?

Ragged and Comfortable.
I have many many t-shirts, but always go for the tattered and torn ones.

comfy is good. Sundays is the day to dress up kids in my house and to dress down for me :-)
