East Coast Life is our host this week - her challenge:
When it comes to gift-giving and receiving, men and women differ on many things. Are men easier to please? Show us the best and worst gift(s) you have ever received from your spouse/partner/lover?
My husband knows me pretty well - since before we were married. I'd say that if I had a weakness, it would be books. He knows this. The first book he ever gave me:
Absolutely amazing autobiography of an early woman pilot. Darling Man actually managed to combine my two favorite things into one for his first gift to me: books and airplanes.
And of course, each book comes with an inscription.
West with the Night was the first book in a long line of books from him. Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell... not only books, but some of my favorite authors as well. As I said, he knows me well!
I honestly can't think of a bad gift he's given me.
I do find it difficult to buy presents for him when I'm trying - but very easy when I see something and know he'll love it. I think the key is to know the other person VERY well.

My husband has only given me cook books. hehe....
Over the years, I'm sure you have a huge collection of books now to start a library. :P
You are cheating, lol ! Nice presents of Mr. G I got too, but never an ugly one !
I find it hard to shop for my hubby at times too. I posted the same thing about not receiving a bad gift from my hubby. :D
At my house you can never go wrong with books, either. I, too, loved West with the Night.
I love the fact that he writes something inside.
