Grrrrrr....<br /><br />I find it curious and interesting that kids, these days, would write something so dark KNOWING it was being judged.<br /><br />They are more socially aware and technologically advanced (because of Facebook, Twitter, etc...) than I ever was as a kid their age.<br /><br />When I was in school, you might tell a friend something terrible but never a teacher.<br /><br />Today, social media has made it so that everyone knows what everyone is doing almost every minute of every day! Plus, kids know that cases of school shootings/bullying/bombings, etc. have been prevented by something another kid posted on social media. So they are aware that "Big Brother is watching".<br /><br />It makes me wonder why they would submit something like that. And, as you said, get a glimpse at the darker side of these kids' lives.
