Mom came over this morning to bring me the underdress of my costume. Dad showed up too, and they waited while I put myself together to see the full effect. The costume turned out very well! The makeup was interesting... I realized immediately that I shouldn't close my mouth (or the red from my top lip would migrate to my bottom lip) and that it was hard to keep my lips slightly parted without drooling all over myself. I believe the need to keep the drool INSIDE her mouth is why Queen Amadala's speaking voice is so monotone. She doesn't want to drool all over herself by moving her lips!

Thanks! The face seems a little TOO white, but the rest worked pretty well. The extra chin was a bit of a shock. I'll have to get rid of that by next year!
