There were about 15 layers of wrapping paper on that present, and my cousin didn't think it was at all funny. I thought it was hilarious!
Of course life wasn't always so funny. In 1978, I got downright serious.
Thankfully, by 1979, things were looking up a bit - at least until I met my first husband... I think it might have been the boots. I loved those boots.
