A Little Blog-Love Goes A Long, Long Way

I've got a couple of friends out there who could use a little blog love and support... check them out!!!

Melanie of Melanie in Orygon has lost her bounce. Through some of the slaps of life, our normally pretty perky friend has slipped into the doldrums. One of the issues is that she is under-employed, which causes some stress in the family budget. So, creative thinker that she is, she decided to try for a job doing something she loves - blogging! And she has entered a contest that would pay her to BLOG FOR A YEAR! Problem is that while she was getting votes like gangbusters for a while (I voted a couple of times a day from work and from home), this other darkhorse blogger, Absolutely True, has managed to come out of nowhere and surpass the vote tallies for our darling Melanie. I swear, it's like that girl has a voting program wired up somewhere, the number of votes she's gotten! So please, show our gal a little bloggy love. Copy the badge over to your sidebar and click on it to vote at least once a day (or you can come visit me and click on my badge). I'd love to see Miss Melly get paid to blog for a year!!! Let's show her some LOVE!!!

My other friend is SWilliam. He is an author with two books out. Like most authors, he would love to pen a bestseller and make lots of money, but it's the love of writing and sharing that really keeps him going. He writes for the youth market, but his books actually appeal to a wide range of readers. I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for "The Santa Mysteries", so I got a sneak peek at a truly wonderful fantasy book for young people. I'm going to buy a copy for my son for Christmas - and I know he will love it!

So, how can you send SWilliam a little love? Well, first off, visit his website and take advantage of his offer of free e-books. Did you catch that four-letter word? The "F" one? As in FREE???? And if you spread the love, you might just get a hard copy (paperback)!

But "The Santa Mysteries" isn't all that SWilliam has to offer... As long as you're there, check out "Sherman Oak and the Magic Potato" as well. Zboy can look forward to seeing that one sometime in the not-too-distant future (as soon as those football checks start rolling in).

How could you possibly resist?????
