- 30 GIANT STEPS - IN ANY direction. You may have to make a few turns and pivots so you won't run into any walls or such...don't want any injuries today!
So after my 30 steps, I wind up down the hall, down the stairs and what I see is THIS! Pretty spooky... but when you turn on the lights, you get to see what's really going on.
But was 30 steps enough for Anni? NOOOOO!
After the 30 giant steps, Stop!TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING!!Then, take 15 baby steps back. After the 15 baby steps, Stop!TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEINGLOOK in any direction -to your right, left, up [more than likely, not down ---that'd be your feet!!]. What you see is what we get!!
Okay, that was boring... fifteen steps brought me back to the top of the stairs. You could have seen either my litter box or the hallway back down to the computer room. We're doing a little experiment in Feng Shui, which says to have something interesting in the direction you're going, so my first attempt was this... My room is a beautiful color blue (which you can't really see due to the flash), and through the open door, you get to see THIS:
AURORA GREETS THE DAWN
One of my mother's friends gave it to me. It's totally NOT my style, but I thought it was beautiful anyway. It's an odd size but I loved the colors, which inspired me to paint the computer room blue in the first place. And I hung it over my bookshelf.
I am not as efficient at moving in as Nikki. Four months after moving in, I'm still painting, still need to attach that bookshelf to the wall so that I can start unpacking my boxes and boxes of books and put them ON my shelf. My whole house is a work in progress. So the most interesting view (other than the litter box) after my 15 steps is my incomplete attempt at Feng Shui. At least the picture is pretty....

Thanks for sharing!
The cat's eyes are glowing! Love the Pics.
I adore the first pic. Glowing eyes are just too cool. :D
I love that color blue! When I was little, my brother's bedroom was that color and my dining room is currently that color!
The blue of your walls is really pretty...soothing. And that painting is gorgeous.
Nice to see that mine isn't the only cat who loves the dining room table.
And is there a way to take a cat pic without the spooky eyes? I sure haven't figured out how.
I have to laugh because in my 15 baby steps picture - I zoomed in my camera so the littler box wouldn't be pictured!!
I haven't tried Feng Shui - does it work?
I think our cats were in cahoots for this assignment!
Love the kitty.
I love the first 2 pictures!! I still have boxes I have not unpacked. We moved in a little over a year ago!!
Feng Shui rocks! Loved the picture of the spooky kitty LOL so funny. And I really like the color of blue on the walls. I have a color similar to that sitting in paint cans downstairs waiting to paint a room with.
The kitty's eyes freaked me a bit, but the second one made it feel way less Stephen King.
Love those spooky kitty eyes.
Feng Shui is not always easy to pull off but I think it'll pay off in the end.
Oh spooky eyes!
spoooooooky kitty!!!!!!
That kitty scared me. :) Love the Aurora Greets the Dawn! And that blue wall. Pretty! I feel better now, just keep scary kitty away.
Your blog looks so interesting. I will come back and read it again. It's getting late tonight.
Happy Fun Monday! Love the cats eyes....I haven't figured out how to take pics without their eyes getting all spooky either!
My kitty would have been in so much trouble had I caught her on the table. But you have a tablecloth so I guess that isn't so bad. Beautiful cat and picture is awe inspiring.
Thanks

best shot of the whole fun monday.. that cat with the reflecting night eyes.
You're correct, there is something enchanting about that pictures and the colors.
Rabbits' eyes do the same thing. It kind of freaks me out because you don't think bunnies are evil, but you don't have to have too large an imagination to think cat's are. lol
