Fun Monday - Where the Magic Happens

This week, Gattina is hosting Fun Monday - despite her writer's cramps. Or maybe because of them... She has asked for a PHOTO of our blogging space!

I showed this particular spot off back when I was crazily doing reorganization and cleaning and painting in my house. This is where I do my work - blogging, writing...

Of course, it doesn't look like that anymore. Only occasionally does it look so neat and clean and dustbunny-free. Especially now that my son has discovered on-line computer games. He spends hours sitting there doing battle in the Star Wars galaxies. The results of war aren't pretty.

This is actually slightly neatened up. I haven't put my hurricane phone away yet. There's a small toy car and a note pad for making war notes on. In fact, StarWars is the reason I've been somewhat quiet lately. Can't get on the computer!!!!

In other news... This cracked me up. One of the ladies that works at ZBoy's summer camp is a bit... unusual. This is what is hanging from her rear-view mirror.

Space ships and crystals. I am dying to ask her where she got them from!

I now refer you back to this post from last March before showing you the final outcome. As weird as it looked to start with, I actually like the outcome! Someone was showing some real imagination there....

So... I didn't stick strictly to Fun Monday, but I needed to get as much in as possible. You know, before the war resumes.

That first spot is giving me a run for my money, it looks so professional and nice!

Your house looks awesome!!! So cute.

My computer desk is rarely as neat as it is today. I cleaned it up last week and my soon has been out of town until last night...I expect the messes to resume shortly!

Oh, but Grace - the first spot and the second spot are the SAME SPOT! Sad, isn't it?

SwampAngel - In the first picture, I knew I had to snap fast because it was NOT going to stay that way!!

Work spaces normally don't stay that neat, not for me anyway. I'm thankful for my laptop which I can move it around. So I have it placed in a neater room. hehe...

What fun to see where we each spend our 'blogging' time today! I'm grateful I don't have to share my space or computers with anyone these days.
Hugs and blessings,

Oh dear! The first shot looked so cozy! LOL! I know just how you feel. Twice since sorting out that sewing room it has been re-trashed. It now hosts DB's computer and GB runs in and out with his little laptop too! They generally leave lots of mess behind!

Thanks for the morning laugh dear! Those little space ships hanging with the crystals, now in my very sleep deprived mind (I was up all night with two sick kids now and another has just come and informed she is feeling off too!)

I can't for the life of me remember their real name but I do know they are bells or chimes used in meditation etc. They are supposed to help in driving away bad spirits too! As my eyes were half asleep I would not even have noticed if you had not mentioned the crystals abiding with them. We actually have a set of them floating around here somewhere amid the mess that is!

Great post, it's OK to veer off, some times. Do you have two pc's there?

Sayre said...

Jan - yes, two pcs. One is offline though due to a virus. The wp still works, so I use that for my writing.

What a good mom to share computer space and time with the warrior boy! At least he remembers to put something under his cup to keep it from sweating on your desk. Must not be a teenager?

I think the area is too neat to be well loved in the first photo and the rest of the photos are just showing the love!

Now that house didn't turn out bad for all their indecisiveness. Who would have dreamed it would end up looking ok?

Sayre-
Those space ships are Tibetian prayer bells... Grandma Gwynn gave me one about 25 years ago.

John - REALLY!?! How interesting! I would think the "bell" part would be too shallow, but perhaps I'm wrong. Very cool.

This woman, I believe, has had cancer. She's totally bald. It would not be so unusual to have lots of different kinds of healing items around her.

I think it's time for Zboys "first computer" heh..heh..heh.. :) Can't have him hogging the internet from you, now can we?

I actually thought the spaceships were cymbols of some kind. Very interesting and very spiritual. Cool!

Oh, and the house? Are you SURE there isn't a Greek flag waving from the front yard somewhere because it makes me think of the Porticullis home in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". :) (give me a word, ANY WORD and I will prove to you that it was taken from a Greek word.)hahahaha

The Tibetan bells work more like cymbols, they do make a lovely sound too!
