Jan is our host this week for Fun Monday - and she wants to know this:
Everyone has laundry. Where do you do yours? Show us your Laundry room, or where you go to get those clothes clean! Photos, please.

It's not fancy, but it works for us for now! The back corner of our little one-car garage is where the action is.
I try not to iron anything ever, but just in case, I do have an ironing board. Mostly it holds up folded clothes.
Not glamorous, but functional. The garage is on my list. One day, I will have a laundry palace (snicker... not!).
Now go see Jan and take a peek at the other participants' laundry rooms. And think about signing up to host next week's challenge!

I had my washer n dryer in my garage also when I lived in Fl. It worked for me too! Now its in my basement...Thanks for sharing Sayre
What's an iron Sayre????
Hahaha.... I know what it is, but I'd be hard-pressed to lay my hands on it! I can't even remember the last time I ironed something.
I try to NOT have to iron anything either. I find that if you remove the clothes from the dryer directly, the less wrinkles they will have.
Functional. That's what I like! I don't iron either. It's ironic, now that I'm quilting my iron gets a lot of use, just not on clothing.
I hate to iron and find that spring/summer clothes have to be ironed. Yuck!!
I thought wrinkles were in?
This is so funny --- I'm a garage girl, Jan is a garage girl.. and now you.
ps. Mine is just opposite as you
dryer on left, washer on right. but the hot water heater is right in the middle.
My hot water heater is gas so it has to sit off the ground over a foot --
I don't need a dryer as we have sunny weather most of the time.
I handwash my clothes though I have a washing machine.
Invest your money in something nice for you and not in a laundry palace, lol ! Your son will leave one day and your husband needs to get be trained !
Glad I'm not the only one that's not keen on ironing.
Hooray for tumble dryers and clothes that don't require ironing!
Another thought crosses my mind...washers over here are cold fill only. They used to be both hot and cold, but environmentalists challenged it, hence cold-fill only.
Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for stopping by my playground. Much appreciated :) I love your ironing board. That's all I would use it for as well. If I have to iron it gets the deep 6 LOL :)
We built a laundry room/mud room/ pantry into our house, I will post a pic on my blog I'm sure once it is full of laundry/food/muddy clothes. Ha ha. One day we might get a second set and put them in the garage.. we'll see. Seems like all I do anymore is laundry!
When we moved to new house, I thought that the washer and dryer in the garage was a novelty. Apparently, I was wrong. I do irn clothes occasionally but not often. I am not sure why our is on a platform. Perhaps, wires and pipes are under the platform. I am realtively tall so I can reach. Plus, there is a step-stool nearby.
I love the ironing board! I keep mine hidden in a closet but have never thought to use it like that. It's a great idea since I never use it for ironing. A damp towel thrown in the dryer with wrinkled clothes is the best I can do LOL
