Going Up?

I had the weirdest dream last night...  I'm not sure where I was but it was some event that was being covered by television.  I was there with a bunch of the guys I used to work with (though I didn't realize until I woke up that they were all guys that had passed away for various reasons).  One of the tasks I had to perform was to go up in this round, glass elevator to place a mic or a light or something - and I had to climb stuff to get to the elevator pad.  It was like some bizarre obstacle course.  After much effort and time, I reached the elevator pad.

I'm sure I picked this image because of the trailers from the Hunger Games movie - that round plate they stand on and the plastic tube just big enough to hold a person...  Anyway, this one operated a little differently.  You stand on the round pad and the elevator comes down over you and clamps to the pad and the whole thing lifts up.  Except when the cylinder came down, it was such a tight squeeze that my skin made squeegee noises as it came down over me...  and then it couldn't lift me.  The ELEVATOR couldn't lift me.

Even my dreams are telling me I'm too fat.

all my elevator dreams involve them: falling, turning sideways so that the floor seems to go out from underneath you and you have to hang on (mostly this one), turning completely upside down so you have to hold on, and rotating around in a circle. Elevators don't do any of that. I suppose it's a dream about lack of control? The thing is? There are usually other people in the dreams and they never seem to be bothered by any of this.

I've been having really weird dreams lately too - it must be the time change.
