Man, I suck at this. I don't KNOW that many bloggers to tag... so I included blogs I thought you all might find amusing, so go visit them!

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Riding my bike to and from work (15 miles each way) and rock climbing both in the wild and at a rock gym. Loving married life and living in the woods.

What were you doing 1 year ago?
Wondering WHAT do do with my 6-year old son during the summer. Lots of swimming in borrowed pools, thinking about moving because I didn't really want to spend another hurricane season that close to the coast.

Five snacks you enjoy:
1) String Cheese
2) Karmal Sutra ice cream
3) Popcorn
4) Icees
5) Dark chocolate

Five songs to which you know all the lyrics: Oooo. I'm lame here. I can't remember the words unless I am singing along. Rarely remember words to regular songs. Hence, the following:
1) Amazing Grace (1st verse only)
2) Star-Spangled Banner
3) America, the Beautiful
4) Theme song to "Dragon Tales" (PBS kids show)
5) I Will Remember You (Sarah McLaughlin - this was my son's lullaby when he was a baby)

Five things you would do if you were a millionaire:
1) Donate to the humane society, battered women's shelter, PBS, NPR
2) Get a gym membership and use it (personal trainer included)
3) Travel to see far-flung family in Europe
4) Set aside money for my son's college, and our retirement
5) Buy an older home in a good school zone and rehabilitate it

Five bad habits:
1) Nail biter
2) Cheek chewer
3) Procrastinator (but only on some stuff)
4) Swear too much
5) Exercise too little

Five things you like doing:
1) Reading
2) Snuggling with my "boys" (husband and son)
3) Petting cats
4) Talking to my mom/dad on the phone
5) Cleaning/painting house

Five things you would never wear again:
1) High heels (if I can help it)
2) Tight clip-on earrings
3) A girdle
4) Blue eyeshadow
5) Tube top

Five favorite toys:
1) Why... this computer!
2) My bike
3) Power tools
4) My camera
5) Costumes

I know I did this wrong (I don't know how to make links), but do visit the other websites I listed. They're all very interesting and fun!

Thanks for including me... I am such a new blogger that I haven't made many blog friends. I will return the favor!

Thanks for the tag. I can't promise anything though. I feel I hardly get around to them in a timely manner!:(

Umm...not to be picky, but it's "So a Blonde Walks Into a Blog." :)

You rode your bike 15 miles each way?!! AND you rock climbed on top of that?! Heck, who needs a gym membership and personal trainer if you can do all that on your own!

Ach... my brain isn't what it used to be...

Unfortunately, neither is the rest of me. It sounded unbelieveable to me when I typed it out, but indeed that is what I was doing 10 years ago.

Then along came baby and some extra weight, and a car accident and more extra weight, and pain and arthritis that makes it difficult to do things. I really wish to be that 10-years-ago person (but with a kid) again. That was part of the reason for moving back to town. So that when school starts, I can ride my bike to and from work (albeit only 5 miles each way now). Gotta start somewhere!

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Planning my relocation from Milwaukee to Seattle. Working as a newbie tech writer for Manpower International in Milwaukee. Struggling with the separation anxiety of leaving all my friends and family behind, wondering, "Is this the right thing to do?"

What were you doing 1 year ago?
Same thing I'm doing now.

Five snacks you enjoy:
1) Watermelon
2) Popcorn
3) Roasted almonds (preferably still warm)
4) Italian ices
5) Dark chocolate

Five songs to which you know all the lyrics:
1) Every They Might Be Giants song on their "Flood" album; it kept me from going insane while living in a college dorm for a year.
2) Down Under (Men at Work)
3) She's an Angel (TMBG)
4) Hurt (Nine Inch Nails)
5) Hold on, Hold on (Neko Case)

Five things you would do if you were a millionaire:
1) Call in 'fuckoff' permanently at the cube farm.
2) Globetrot everybloodywhere.
3) Donate to FareStart.
4) Pay off every debt owed by me and all my family members.
5) Relocate my sister to Seattle.

Five bad habits:
1) I swear too fucking much.
2) I grind my teeth at night.
3) I often don't pick up after myself.
4) When I eat I always manage to get it on my face, my clothes, the tabletop, the floor. At least I manage to not hit other people with it (unless I'm cracking crab legs).
5) I spend too much time overanalyzing past events.

Five things you like doing:
1) Reading
2) Running
3) Writing
4) Telling people I love precisely why they are magnificent. (we don't do this enough; humans are prone to point out flaws and ignore the good stuff; I do what I can to reverse that).
5) Traveling

Five things you would never wear again:
1) Purple and green together.
2) The bracelet I got from the guy I lost my virginity to (although I still keep it in a box somewhere)
3) Stonewashed jeans with tapered ankles stuffed into legwarmers (what the fuck was that about?)
4) Love's Baby Soft perfume.
5) Black rubber bangle bracelets.

Five favorite toys:
1) Nintendo DS system
2) Anything from Archie McPhees
3) My car (a used Lexus ES300)
4) My running shoes.
5) Um, I can't tell you this one but I nicknamed it "The Colonel" and it's probably sold under the guise as a neck massager at Sharper Image. ;)
