Cramming

It might be a little quiet here over the next couple of days... Thursday is the last day of the month and we have GOT to get the rest of our stuff out of the old house and do a clean up. I've got all the bedrooms cleaned, and one of the baths, but still have the master bath, livingroom, diningroom and kitchen (and family room mop) to go.

I think Mom is going to help out tomorrow afternoon, and by Thursday morning, I'll have everything that needs to be moved next to the front door so Darling Man can just back up the truck and take it away. We're that close.

But it's been so wonderful being at the new house... It's hard to go back over to the old. Not to mention the fleas that have erupted since we took their food away. You walk in the house and get eaten alive. I've bombed three times now. Today I sprayed myself with Off, which helped. After everything is clean, I believe I will set off one more and be done with it.

Not my problem anymore.

I know how to get rid of fleas. Get a stereo with a really good subwoofer, set it on the floor, and let the music play. The vibration prevents the fleas from going into hibernation -- which they do when the food goes away, and bug bombs can't kill them in that state because they don't really breathe it. Since they're not hibernating, they starve to death in days, instead of being around weeks/months later.
