Angela at The Lurchers is hosting Fun Monday this week - and I must have been a mind reader!
This what she wants:
I'm going to make it a nice and easy Fun Monday this week. All I want you to do is take me on your favourite walk. In words or pictures. Or both of course! Tell me why it's your favourite and point out things of interest on the way.
And THIS is something I wrote last Tuesday, before I found out about who was hosting and what the assignment was! Amazing. I actually got my homework done early!
I guess the only thing I didn't say was why I enjoy this walk. First of all, it's time for just me and ZBoy. We talk about all kinds of things when we do walks like this. It reminds me of the walks I used to have with my dad when I was younger. Second, it's a rural setting. I don't have to worry about cars running me over, there's a big galumphing dog to run free of a leash, and lots of interesting things to stop and look at. Walking the farm is one of the most relaxing things to do.
Now go visit Angela and see where all the other Fun Monday participants are strolling!

Oh yes, I thoroughly enjoyed that walk last week. It was much fun. Maxi is doing mine for me today. I am a little busy!
That farm looks so exotic. What a treat to have that sort of get away.
what a beautiful place..I can see why you enjoy walking through it....I have to admit to being a bit jealous!!
I read this and thought then "how wonderful"!
Like Alison said, except that I'm WAY jealous! It's a dream of mine to one day lactually live in a place like that. Very nice, indeed!
I could go there too. Looks like a terrific adventure. And actually, I'd prefer the brown eggs to the white...they just seem 'richer' tasting.
My Fun Monday is a walk on the beaches. With just a few photos of the views! Hope you can stop by. And may your day be filled with sunshine!
I left a comment at the ‘link’ you provided, but I wanted to add a ‘thank you’ here for sharing this lovely spot with those of us who don’t live in a ‘rural’ setting ;--)
My walk is up at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
I could tell you were feeling a bit more at peace after your walk. A great way to clear the mind eh?
cool!
Wow your parents farm is very very beautiful. What a fabulous place to call home
the big galumphing dog sure makes me miss my old dog.
there is nothing quite like a farm. That was just lovely!!! Thanks for the tour!
That was stunning. :D
What nice surroundings to take a walk in!

What a heavenly place, ideal for children to explore~ such freedom and I can see why you enjoy it so much.
BTW I love the desk and the blueberries look good. I just have a few bushes in pots and we had loads of flowers but it has been windy and many have blown away worst luck~ so I'm not expecting much fruit!
I am shocked at how far along the garden is. We've only planted peas - still too cold for anything else.
Very beautiful walk!
What a beautiful walk you took me on!
Oh the gardens and the tree house and the eggs and blueberries and ... envious, I am. Yup, just a little green around the edges! Thanks for sharing.
awesome! that looked like fun!
and how great that it brings back such wonderful memories for you.
My Aunt and Uncle have a farm and they raised my dad so they were like my grandparents to me. I loved taking walkes in the fields as well as the animals they owned when I was growing up. Now when we go back there I like to take the kids on the walks I used to go on. I love farms..
Down on the farm - the fish is a hoot - and yum strawberry I see why you would love that walk. and to share it with Zboy waht could be better.
The funny thing about our hikes are that hubby and I do great alone but when we take the kids we talk so much (that part is great), but we talk so much that we end up on horse trails and sometimes lost.
You've been tagged! See my Monday post!

I enjoyed your walk to the farm. There are so many fascinating things along your walk. Walks can bring wonderful memories.
Time with the kid...that's what it's all about.
Sayre, you're very lucky to have this place to walk when the mood strikes. What variety--especially love the rooster--your Dad, no doubt, will spirit him away when the hens aren't looking? Raised beds a good idea--had them many years ago--oh my not aching back.
