This was the best of the lot. It's funny... when he knows we're gonna take a picture, they don't always come out so well. This was the second one I took today and I had to keep going because his glasses had glare. Looking back, this is the best one.
This was the first one after school. Looked a little dark, plus the reflections in his glasses...
Having the dog as a prop didn't help much - and they BOTH had eye reflections!
Okay... maybe if I back up a bit the glare won't be so big - nope! Shoot, maybe I'll just have him take his glasses OFF. He didn't like that one - says he looks weird without glasses (but his eyes sure are pretty!).
This was yesterday. It was actually a little nippy, so he put on the scarf and hat I made him - and in addition to the flannel jammies, he's got the teddy bear robe wrapped around his legs.

Once I bought those Transition lenses (which fade from dark to light depending on the light).
I was horrified to see how dark they were inside and so always took them off for pictures.
I'm so glad I don't wear glasses anymore.
love the blanket pics
sweet... I should have posted my grands today -- but I didn't have an opportunity to get a photo. I'll get one tomorrow and will join in late!
ps. I think he is quite handsome without his glasses -- as well as with them.
I like The Boy in his glasses. Must find out what the pros do to avoid glare. He's very patient to let you make so many attempts. I like to just have camera handy and shoot when the subject is unaware. Like my own photo taken that way as well--if you must! So much more natural.
So much fun to try and get good pictures of kids! He is quite handsome with those glasses.
I love the pictures, even the ones with the glare in the eyes and glasses. A boy and his dog are always a great pic opportunity. And Z looks good in all pics, very photogenic! Love love love the hat and scarf. Very nice!
I have bestowed upon you an award over at Karismas Kraft. :-)
